Services Provided: Intake, assessment, individual counseling, couple and marital counseling, support groups, educational groups, case management, referrals to treatment centers of other specialized care, Community Service resources, smoking cessation, court related substance abuse group and Kickapoo language Translation.
> Home Visits, nursing home and hospital visits are also provided to patients at the request of the consumer's primary Behavioral ]Health provider or primary care physician.
>Education training and class room observation: are provided monthly to Kickapoo Headstart Program to meet specific Head Start Federal Regulations.
>Sweat Lodge Ceremonies: Are open to all ages and are co-ed. It is is open to the community and other Tribes. The ceremony follows the Native American culture and spirituality to healing. The ceremonies are held twice a month on the first and third Thursday, from 7pm to 10pm. Transportation is available if needed for Program participants as well as a fellowship meal that is offered after the ceremony.
> Transportation: Transportation is provided to patients of the Behavioral Health Program to attend counseling sessions, groups, workshops, or program activities. The participant must contact the BH a week in advance to be placed on the transportation list. If he/she is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or inhalants, transportation cannot be provided; however the appointment may be rescheduled. Transportation is also provided for patients who are admitted to an inpatient alcohol/drug treatment center.
